Instructor: Dianna Hanna. Batik is an ancient method of painting on pretty papers and fabrics using wax as a resist and a preservative. Students will explore the methods and create several vignettes on interesting and textural papers. This is an exciting and creative workshop and a new twist for watercolour! A creative and exciting method for gifts. No experience is necessary. Handouts and reference materials are available in the workshop. Course fee $60 + tax, plus $35 for supplies, payable to the instructor.
