Event Type

Yoga in Aga Khan Garden

NOTE: This event has been rescheduled from June 19, due to rainy weather.

Come celebrate the solstice and join us in the beautiful Alpine Garden at the U of A Botanic Garden for a summer flow class. As we approach the longest day of the year, this solstice inspired flow will encourage us to look within as we invite the element of fire and heat into our practice to burn through that which is no longer serving us. We will move through a dynamic flow to call in the transformative energy of the solstice and the warmth of the sun. This heat-building practice will give us the strength to offer up anything we don’t need to carry anymore. The clarity we gain when we begin to let go reveals our true joyful nature and our journey to self love continues to blossom. Cody Homa will be accompanying the practice with music to connect us deeper to our inner world.

No yoga experience required! The class is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Bring layers and dress according to the weather! A blanket is always nice to use during savasana.

Note:  Activities are planned with safety in mind. However, all activities are subject to changing health restrictions and may be cancelled.

Tickets $35 per person + tax, includes one hour yoga session and admission to the Garden.

Advance registration is required.
Coupons and passes are not eligible for this event.
This event is weather dependent. If class is cancelled due to rain-out, it will be rescheduled . We will contact participants by email if the event is cancelled or delayed due to rain.
