Two-part course: April 16 and 23, 6-9 pm

Learn the basics of maintaining healthy turf on your home or acreage lawn. UABG horticulturist Ken Willis will introduce a history of turf,  and discuss turfgrass biology and how to identify the many species. You will learn about soil fertility, irrigation and pest and disease controls. Additionally, you’ll receive a review of equipment and its proper use, including operator safety. This introductory course is ideal for homeowners . $75+tax.
